South African Poinsettia – Spectacular Leaves.


I saw this while walking around the block today. The Poinsettia Tree or Shrub. Did you know that the requirement for this plant to change colors is 12 hours of darkness for 5 days in a row. This is called Photoperiodism.

  2. What are the trees/shrubs called whose tiny upper leaves turn totally white iin our south african late autumn and winter. I believe they are a poinsettia family.
